our family has always owned an English mastiff. I bred and showed Shih Tzu for 20 years and when our last English mastiff passed away in 2011 we realized the English mastiffs being bred here were not the same anymore. They lost their look, personality and size! After years of searching we realized we would have to import if we wanted another English Mastiff with the true Old English Mastiff look. Importing is not easy or cheap and once we finally had our first male Axel here we realized there were other families desperately looking for a true Old English Mastiff as well . I decided then to retire from my Shih Tzu breeding program and start a new journey with my husband to breed the best English mastiffs we could find from all over the world
